A LADY TO ADMIRE

My birth led to a mixed feeling, I was my mom’s gift, my dad’s responsibility, my brother’s integrity.
I grew old day by day; my mum’s hopes, my dad’s dreams and my brother’s expectations influenced my play.
I grew young and life got many turns.
Each turn made me strong; I was firm to choose my path at my own.
I aspired higher and higher, each passing day lit inside me that fire.
Undying efforts and my focused energy pushed me to be different among all; my desire to serve mankind was standing tall.
My dreams and aspirations got new direction and my new venture was a big attraction.
I was energized to do more and more, my enthusiasm was making me satisfied to the core.
My ride became a journey with no time, my family and friends’ support made things fine.
Being a proud daughter, a lovely mother, a supporting wife, a kind human and a good officer, I am moving towards perfection.
I am contempted of my work, my optimism, energy and selection.
I feel sorry for those who think a girl is God’s bad creation; a girl can make her mark in life if she dreams to aspire high.
She’s not a burden, not a responsibility; she’s the one managing number of things, proving her capability.
My contribution to education is God’s grace and my family’s galore, with every passing year I am all set to explore more and more!!
